Welcome to Ediphai. By downloading, accessing, or using our website or app, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. Please read them carefully before continuing.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Ediphai, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use Ediphai.

3. Use of Ediphai

You agree not to misuse Ediphai, interfere with its functionality, or use it in ways that violate laws or harm others. You agree not to attempt to circumvent subscription restrictions, access controls, or usage limits through any means.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

4.1 Free and Paid Tiers

Ediphai offers a free tier and a paid tier ("Ediphai Premium"). The free tier provides access to core app features with certain limitations, including a daily limit on text coaching messages. Ediphai Premium unlocks unlimited text coaching and voice coaching access. We reserve the right to modify the features included in each tier at any time.

4.2 Pricing

Prices are in U.S. dollars and may vary by region based on App Store pricing. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. You will be notified in advance. Price changes will not affect your current billing cycle but will apply upon renewal.

4.3 Free Trial

New users may be eligible for a 14-day free trial of Ediphai Premium. The trial provides full paid-tier access. A valid payment method is required to start the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial period ends, your subscription will automatically convert to the paid plan you selected, and you will be charged accordingly. Trial eligibility is limited to one trial per Apple ID (or Google account when available).

4.4 Auto-Renewal

All subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will be charged the applicable subscription price to your App Store account upon renewal.

4.5 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's App Store subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until your current period expires. Ediphai does not process cancellations directly; all subscription management is handled through the App Store.

4.6 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by the Apple App Store (or Google Play Store when available) in accordance with their respective refund policies. Ediphai does not issue refunds directly. If you believe you were charged in error, contact the applicable app store.

4.7 Church-Subsidized Access

If your church is an Ediphai partner, you may receive Ediphai Premium access at no personal cost. To activate this, select your church in the app's settings. Church-subsidized access is subject to your church's ongoing partnership with Ediphai. If the partnership ends or you change your church selection, your access will revert to the free tier, and you will have the option to subscribe individually.

4.8 App Store Terms

Your subscription is also subject to the terms and conditions of the Apple App Store (or Google Play Store when available). In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the applicable app store's terms regarding billing, payments, or refunds, the app store's terms will govern.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and technology in Ediphai are owned by us or our partners and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute content without permission.

6. Content and Reflections

Reflections, prompts, coaching conversations, and responses generated or delivered through Ediphai are for personal growth and guidance. While we strive to provide meaningful and accurate content, it may not always be error-free or complete. You are responsible for how you use this content.

AI-powered coaching is not a substitute for professional counseling, therapy, pastoral guidance, or medical advice. If you are experiencing a crisis, please contact a qualified professional or emergency services.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep Ediphai running smoothly, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The app may be updated, changed, or discontinued at any time.

8. Limitation of Liability

Ediphai is provided "as is." We are not responsible for any damages resulting from your use of the app, including reliance on AI-generated outputs. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of Ediphai will not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or misuse the service. If your account is terminated for cause, you will not be entitled to a refund for any remaining subscription period.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. If we make material changes (such as changes to subscription terms, pricing, or billing), we will notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of Ediphai after updates means you accept the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Honolulu, Hawaii, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
