Two things worth surfacing in the narrative: recurring giving is the engine — 412 households on pace, +8 since Q3. The watch-out is first-time givers, down 24% and concentrated in the under-30 cohort.

How it works

Connect once. Then ask from anywhere.

01

Connect once.

You install the Ediphai connector in Claude, ChatGPT, or any other tool that speaks MCP — the same way you'd install any other extension.

02

Ask anything.

Your church's people, giving, attendance, groups, and Initiatives are now in the conversation. Edi handles the queries; you ask in plain language. No SQL, no exports, no copy-paste from CSVs.

03

Same permissions.

Role-based access controls follow you across every tool. Your finance director sees giving detail. Your campus pastor sees their campus. The same boundaries that govern the Console.

Privacy

Your data shouldn't train someone else's model.

Edi never uses your church's data for training. That's contractual and non-negotiable.

When you ask a question in Claude or ChatGPT, the question itself passes through their service. We strongly recommend you turn off “improve the model with my chats” in each tool — every major provider supports this, and we'll walk you through the settings during onboarding.

With training disabled, your conversations are used only to answer you — not to retrain the next model.

Common questions

Common questions about Connectors.

The Model Context Protocol — an open standard for how AI tools talk to outside data sources. Think of it as the universal plug between Claude or ChatGPT and the systems your church already uses. It's the same protocol Anthropic, OpenAI, and others have adopted.
No. Edi works through the AI tools your team is already paying for. If your team has Claude Pro, ChatGPT Plus or Team, or a Cursor seat, that's all you need on the AI side. The Ediphai connector itself is included with your Ediphai subscription.
Yes. The role-based access controls that govern the Console govern Edi in every other tool. The senior pastor sees the big picture. The finance director sees giving detail. The campus pastor sees their campus. Edi never exceeds those boundaries, regardless of which surface you're using.
Never by Ediphai — that's contractual and non-negotiable. The AI tools you connect through (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) each have their own settings; we strongly recommend you disable training and we configure that with you during onboarding. See the section above for the specifics.
Most major AI clients ship MCP support today, and the list is growing. If your team uses something that doesn't yet, let us know — it's usually a matter of weeks before a connector appears, and we can often help the vendor prioritize it.
