Privacy Policy
Last updated May 20, 2026.
Welcome to Ediphai. This Privacy Policy describes how Dream Releaser LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use any of our products and services, including the Ediphai mobile application (the “App”), the Ediphai website at ediphai.com, the Ediphai church data intelligence platform (the “Platform”), the Ediphai Console, the Ediphai MCP Connector, and any related tools, features, or services (collectively, the “Services”).
By downloading, accessing, or using any of the Services, you agree to the following Privacy Policy. Please read it carefully before continuing.
1. Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on which Services you use.
Consumer App (Individual Users)
- Account Information — Name, email address, and device details you provide when creating your account.
- Church Association — If you select a church in the App, we store that association to personalize your experience and, where applicable, to determine whether your church provides premium access on your behalf.
- Usage Data — Reflections, check-ins, voice recordings, text inputs, coaching conversations, Growth Profile data, spiritual gifts assessment results, and interactions with App features.
- Payment Information — If you subscribe to Ediphai Premium, payment is processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not directly collect or store your credit card number or payment credentials.
- Technical Data — Logs, error reports, IP address, device type, operating system version, and usage statistics to improve performance and stability.
- Location Data — If enabled on your device, we may collect approximate location for contextual features.
Church Platform (Church Partners and Authorized Users)
- Church Operational Data — Data ingested from church management systems (such as Planning Center, Pushpay, Tithe.ly, Rock RMS, and others) connected to the Platform by the Church Partner. This may include attendance records, giving data, group participation, event registrations, and congregant directory information. This data is provided by and belongs to the Church Partner.
- Authorized User Information — Name, email address, role, and permissions for individuals granted access to the Platform by a Church Partner.
- Platform Usage Data — Queries, interactions with Edi, Console usage, and feature interactions by authorized users.
- Integration Credentials — API keys and authentication tokens provided by Church Partners to connect third-party systems. These are encrypted and used solely for data synchronization.
2. How We Use Your Information
Consumer App
We use information collected through the App to:
- Provide and improve your Ediphai experience.
- Deliver personalized reflections, prompts, and insights.
- Manage your subscription, trial, and access entitlements, including church-subsidized premium access.
- Enforce usage limits on the free tier (such as the daily text coaching message limit).
- Communicate with you about your account, updates, or support needs.
- Send optional reminders, devotional content, or surveys (if you opt in).
- Analyze usage and improve features, performance, and security.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect against misuse.
Church Platform
We use information collected through the Platform to:
- Deliver the data intelligence, AI assistant, and operational tools contracted by the Church Partner.
- Provide insights, reports, and analytics to authorized users based on their role and permissions.
- Maintain and improve the reliability, accuracy, and performance of the Platform.
- Support onboarding, configuration, and technical support for Church Partners.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect against misuse.
Church operational data is processed solely to deliver the contracted services to the Church Partner. It is never used to train AI models, build features for other churches, or shared with third parties except as required to deliver the Services.
3. Third-Party Services
To deliver the Services, we work with trusted third-party providers for hosting, analytics, communications, data processing, and other infrastructure needs. These providers help us operate the Services but do not own or control your personal information.
For the Platform, we may integrate with third-party church management and giving systems at the direction of the Church Partner. Data flows between these systems and the Platform are governed by the Church Partner’s agreement with both Ediphai and the third-party provider.
4. Disclosure of Information
We may share information in the following ways:
- With service providers that help us deliver the Services (as described above).
- With your church or organization, if you use the App as part of a church-partnered account. We may share that you are an active user with your selected church for the purpose of managing subsidized access. Reflections, coaching conversations, and personal content are never shared with your church without your explicit consent.
- For Church Partners, authorized users may access church operational data within the Platform according to their assigned role and permissions. Individual App user reflections and coaching content are never surfaced in the Platform without the individual user’s explicit consent.
- With partners or resources, but only if you request or consent.
- To comply with laws, respond to legal requests, or protect rights and safety.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or similar business transaction.
- As aggregated or de-identified data that does not personally identify you.
5. Anonymized and Aggregate Data
Ediphai may collect, generate, and use anonymized, aggregate-level data derived from user activity and church operational data for purposes including analytics, product improvement, benchmarking, and church-level ministry insights. This data is stripped of personally identifiable information and cannot reasonably be used to identify any individual user. Because this data is not personal data, its use does not require individual consent or an opt-in and is separate from any user-level data sharing preferences or consent toggles within the App. Examples of aggregate data include overall engagement trends, attendance patterns across churches, and anonymized coaching usage statistics.
6. Church Data Ownership and Isolation
Church operational data ingested into the Platform remains the property of the Church Partner at all times. Each Church Partner’s data is stored in a logically isolated environment, separate from every other church’s data. Ediphai does not use church data to train AI models, build features for other organizations, or share with any third party. This commitment is contractual, not a configurable setting.
7. Data Storage and Security
We follow industry best practices to safeguard your information and keep it protected. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to personal data and church operational data is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis. Role-based access controls apply across all Platform surfaces.
8. Data Retention
We keep your information only as long as needed to provide the Services, ensure security, and meet legal obligations. Subscription and payment records may be retained for the duration required by applicable tax and financial regulations. Afterward, we delete or anonymize your data.
Account Deletion and Recovery (Consumer App)
If you delete your Ediphai account, we will retain your data in a deactivated state for 30 calendar days (the “Recovery Period”). During this period, you may contact us or log back in to restore your account and all associated data. After the 30-day Recovery Period expires, your personal data will be permanently deleted from our systems and cannot be recovered, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention, financial recordkeeping, or resolving disputes.
Church Partner Data Retention
Upon termination of a Church Partner agreement, church operational data will be handled in accordance with the data retention and deletion terms specified in the applicable MSA or SOW. Church Partners may request data export or deletion by contacting us.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access and request a copy of your data.
- Correct or delete your data.
- Restrict or object to processing.
- Opt out of marketing messages.
- Request data portability.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below.
Church Partners may exercise data rights on behalf of their organization by contacting us under the terms of their agreement.
10. Children's Privacy
The Services are not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a user under 18, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date at the top shows the latest version. If we make material changes (such as changes to how we collect, use, or share data), we will notify you through the App, the Platform, or by email. Continued use of the Services after updates means you accept any changes.
